Delivery to An Alternate Address; not the cardholders address.

Delivery to an Alternative address (Card not registered at this address), requires you to strictly follow the following instructions.

Credit/Debit card fraud is a constant risk, both for consumers/customers AND retailers like us. The bigger risk is to retailers, since in the event that a card payment is disputed by a customer with their card issuer, the bank almost immediately reverses the transaction leaving the retailers out of pocket; for both goods AND payment. The police, when informed, rarely have the resources to investigate and as such it is the shops left carrying the cost of fraud NOT the banks!

As a direct result of this risk, we DO NOT offer the facility to have an order delivered to any address other that the registered cardholders address where payment is made by Credit or Debit cards.

This restriction obviously doesn't suit many of our customers, since they have nobody in at home to sign for parcels when they are delivered during normal working hours, and we are regularly asked to deliver to customers' places of work.

We CAN deliver to your workplace but only if you follow our instructions and pay by the 2 options stated below

To use our alternative delivery address payment option:

1. Add the item/s to your basket.

2. You must fill in the order form using the alternative delivery address. NOT your card address.

3. Select: "Contact me for payment details", as your payment method

4. Please advise whether you are paying by cheque, paying over the counter at any HSBC Bank or processing via your internet banking system by filling in the order comments field.

5. Once the checkout has completed the order, your order will be assigned an Order Reference Number. At the end of the LONG reference number Please make a note of the LAST six numbers to quote with any of your payment methods.

Then, either;

• Send a cheque
  
  made payable to Mail Order Cycles Ltd, with a print-off of your order to Old London Road, Copdock, Ipswich, IP8 3JF writing your order reference on the back of your cheque and the address you would like your order delivered to written clearly (Block capitals please) on the order print-off. Your order will be despatched as soon as the cheque clears; usually 5 working days.
  



• Pay directly into our bank account using BACS via internet/telephone banking or visit any HSBC Bank and pay over the counter

  Please call for details DEPOSIT ACCOUNT ONLY, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SET UP DIRECT DEBITS AS THEY DO NOT WORK
  
  and use your last 6 digits from your long order reference number as the payment reference.
  
  Your order will be despatched as soon as the payment has been received in our account; usually 2 or 3 working days, however if you use HSBC this may be much quicker.
