Frequently Asked Questions about Buying Bikes From a Mail Order Bicycles Supplier

Are you a real shop, or are you just some cowboys operating out of your garden shed?

Yes, we are a "real" shop(Under Renovation Until March). Our premises are located in Ipswitch and you are more than welcome to come and browse our range at our premises during open hours (Monday through Friday, 9.30am til 5pm - Once we re-open in March).
Many online bike suppliers do not have shops and are operated from some interesting and unusual locations. Please be assured that if you buy from us, you are buying from a bona fide cycle retailer with many years of specialist knowledge and facilities to back up our sales.

How will my bike arrive? Will it be ready to ride OR will there be much I have to do to it?

The nature of parcel delivery means that it would be impossible for us to ship your bike out in a 100% ready to ride state. What we do is to safety check every aspect of your bike before it leaves our premises. We then turn the handlebars and remove the pedals (attaching them back to the bike in a place where they cannot do any damage) and then repackaging the bike in a larger box. This in turn means that all you will have to do is to lift the bike out of the box, turn the handlebars back into their correct posisiton and tighten them, then securely attach the pedals. Whilst we are not unique in the way we pre-assemble and safety check all our bikes the majority of other discount bike suppliers send their bikes out to you in exactly the same way they receive them. Some never even touch the bike at all as they are despatched direct to you from the districutors/wholesaler.

I've found the bike I want cheaper elsewhere. Will you match their price?

ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADULT CYCLES. We will match their deal and better it!
If you see the same **adult** cycle deal, LIFE FOR LIKE cheaper elsewhere, we will try to price match AND knock a further £5 off.
The bike must be IN STOCK. The other providor must be based in the mainland UK.
Advise us of the competitors website and the bike you are after via email or phone and we'll do the rest.
This offer EXCLUDES EBAY as many cycles offered for sale through EBAY are factory / catalogue / mail order returns and are often what would be classed as 'B' or 'C' grade stock.

I will not be able to receive my bike at home because of the hours I work. Can I have it deleivered elsewhere, to my workplace for example?

Yes, we can deliver to an alternative address BUT you must follow our instructions in order to have goods delivered elsewhere.
