We accept all major credit/debit cards - except American Express.
Cheques should be made payable to Mail Order Cycles and you can find our address on the Contacts page.
The price for the goods will be as stipulated on the website at the time when you place your order. If due to an error or omission, the price published for the goods on our website is wrong, we will inform you of the correct price and give you an opportunity to either cancel, or proceed with the order at the correct price. |

Delivery |
We offer Free standard delivery on most adult cycles to parts of the UK mainland. This is for week days only and does not include week ends.
Deliveries to the Highlands and Off shore addresses will incur a delivery surcharge. Please add the item to your basket to view the delivery options.
If the goods are returned as Non Warranty. I.e. Customer has changed his or her mind, the customer is then responsible for the cost of, and safe return of the item to us.
Your order for goods is subject to availability. If we are not able to supply the goods to you for any reason after 28 days, we will on request reimburse you for those goods.
However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses, which you may suffer if we do not supply goods.
When our carriers deliver the goods, they will require you to sign for them. If neither you, nor your representative are able to receive the goods, our carrier will leave a card to advise they will attempt the delivery again the next working day.
If they fail to deliver then you will be charged a further £10 for a third attempt. We will contact to to take your payment details, the couriers will not release the bike until we have given permission.
We always endeavour to get your goods delivered to you as quickly as possible, however, our free service is not an express service, and to cover ourselves, we ask that customers allow up to 28 days for delivery for any item requested on our free delivery service.
94% of customers using the free delivery service receive their goods within 3 to 7 working days of placing their order. This does not mean that you will receive your item on the 7th day.
You may receive your goods earlier or later than this. Therefore we do not guarantee your goods will be delivered within 7 days.
Deliveries on the free service are usually made between 8am and 5pm on weekdays. Our delivery to you is a courtesy and forms no part of our contract to supply goods within a specified timescale.
Please note, Mail Order Cycles do not make any profit from deliveries, and any scheduled services are made as a courtesy on behalf of the customer.
Scheduled delivery forms no part of the purchase contract between the customer and Mail Order Cycles.
Mail Order Cycles can not be held liable or responsible for any delay arising as a result of the action of the carrier company.
In effect when a scheduled delivery service is booked, Mail Order Cycles acts as your agent in booking the service with the carrier. We do this free of charge as a courtesy.
Any shortages and/or breakages should be notified to us in writing within 7 days. |

Your Security and Credit Card Security |
We value your security and as such have done our utmost to ensure that none of your personal information is at risk while you are visiting our site.
Credit Card Security:
Because of the threat to the security of your payment details, we will not request your credit card details via the standard order form. You will be contacted within 48 hours to confirm your payment details, thus ensuring that at no point are your details stored in any transmission across the internet.
If you select to use our secure server option, you will be transferred to the secure server prior to your payment details being requested. The secure server uses 128 bit encryption and as such you can feel confident that your details cannot be intercepted by any third party at any point during the transaction.
If you select to use our credit application facility, once again your details are only transferred via a 128 bit encrypted connection.
Please note when placing your card details onto the secure server, please use your billing address. If you use a different delivery address our credit card facility will decline this and your goods will not be dispatched. Therefore we request you use the correct information. |

Returns / Cancellations |
Please note that while initial delivery is free if the contract is cancelled in writing within 7 working days of receipt of the goods because you have changed your mind, you as the consumer will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us. If you wish us to collect the goods you will be liable for the cost of this return collection service.
If you intend to return the item or require us to collect the goods at your cost you must take good care of the goods while they are in your possession. |

Warranty Returns |
You will be charged for the replacement part, until the faulty part is returned.
In cases where a refund is due, we shall reimburse you within 30 days of our receipt of the returned goods. |

Non Warranty Returns |
We will accept the return of any UNUSED items. You must contact us in writing (either by letter or email) to inform us of your decision to return your order prior to sending it to us.
This is consistent with the Department of Trade and Industry's distance selling regulation.
Please note we stress that the goods must be returned unused and complete with original packaging. Safe return is the resposibility of the customer. |

Transit Damage Returns |
Please check goods thoroughly before signing to say that you have received them in good condition.
The carrier will inevitably try to rush you. Just ignore them and make a simple check for transit damage. This is very important as we claim from the carriers if ever they are responsible for such damage.
Please add to the paperwork 'Goods un-checked'
Please note if you declare that you have received your item in good condition, it is difficult later claim that your bicycle was in fact damaged in transit.
If you do receive a bicycle which on inspection is unacceptably and substantially, damaged, refuse delivery of it. Do not sign for it and contact us immediately on 01473 730444 giving a clear reason for refusal. We can then arrange for a replacement bicycle to be sent out to you as soon as we receive and inspect the returned bicycle. You will not be charged for this unless the goods are found on inspection to be undamaged. |

Warranty Policy |
Our Guarantee Policy
All bicycles supplied by Mail Order Cycles conform to BS6102/1.
Should any original component prove defective in terms of material deficiency, We will either replace or repair it free of charge.
"Competition" goods are supplied for specialist use and are subject to extreme wear and stress whilst in use. Life expectancy and durability are greatly reduced and purchasers should note that any claim for failure/wear shall be limited to that of the manufactures guarantees. It is agreed that such use shall be a relevant circumstance for the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). In addition, parts connected to parts supplied by this company may be placed under stress where specialist/competition parts are used, and purchasers should take advice from experts prior to purchase. Manufacturers may also limit guarantees when components are installed for competition use.
All claims however must be submitted to us in writing within the guarantee period stated on the accompanying handbook.
Mail Order Cycle's liability covers parts only, but does not cover labour charges from other cycle dealers, transportation charges or consequential loss. It is therefore the responsibility of the purchaser to return the cycle or component to us for assessment, replacement, or repair.
It is important that a simple visual inspection of the bicycle is carried out before signing to declare that you have received your cycle in good condition
This guarantee does not cover the effects of normal wear and tear, or damage caused by accident, abuse or neglect.
No bicycle is indestructible, and for this reason we are unable to guarantee cycles or components for any type of off road use, as damage is more likely to result.

Offers/Free Goods |
The offer of free goods are only while stock last and apply to adult cycles only.
Please note that some cycle that are heavily discounted could have a slight marks or scratches.
Free goods applies to wheel size of 26" and above, it excludes Trikes and Tandems. |
